All 3D TVs can also work as 2D TVs so yes, it will work as a monitor no problem if you connect it properly.

You can also use 3d on it by using the Nvidia 3d Vision Kit.

I ask this because I am looking to buy two 27" 3D 120Hz LED Computer Monitors for 3D video editing -or- one 32" 240Hz LED 3DTV for the desktop and one 37" 240Hz LED 3DTV for the preview. I can use nVidia's 3DTVPlay software to make the 3DTVs work on the computer with my Quadro 4000 card.

Does anyone know difference between the technologies of 3D computer monitors and the 3D TVs? They are all LEDs.

I say the bigger the screen, the better for my eyes. But if I want to split one screen on two large 32" 3DTVs or 27" 3D monitors they almost won't fit on my computer desk which is a heavy duty dining table with an editing table on top.
