I found this forum when I googled my question and the person's problem seemed to be like mine, but none of the answers were working for me...here's my question:
I went to turn on my laptop and I get this message about a duplicate IP address. I also notice that Mozilla Firefox is no longer on the computer. Although, currently I'm using Firefox, but only because I was in it when the message popped up. Now, though, it doesn't open up any new windows when I want to and I can't get into facebook or my email on any web browsers I have.
I've tired to use troubleshooting, but it tells me there is no problem and when I use the command thing where you type "ipconfig/release" and "ipconfig/renew" it doesn't give me a new ip address...
Also, on other forums I read that I should go into the network and sharing center and look for "manage network connections" I don't even have that options on my network and sharing center...
So...anybody know what to do?
