Amd am3 socket cpu not compatable in hp 6313

Hello,Tried to install a Phenom 4 core/am3 cpu in a HP6313,start up said not compatible and shut down.I installed that same cpu in a Emachine with a am2 socket and it worked fine.Question is will any upgrade be possible and if so will I need to install another type of Athlon cpu only? This HP pc came with a Athlonllx2 215 2.7ghz. Hoping to get a 4 core 3.2 in it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Tim

If so their CPU support is listed here

As far as I can see it supports most AM3 CPU's except Tubans and I do not see this one listed either http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103921

Thanks for the response, this is the exact MB, now another question, Do you think that the Phenom cpu requires more wattage than the mb supports?If that's the case will an Athlon cpu run in this mb?

The board might be limited to 95watt CPU's. An Athlon II should run in it.

Thanks for your input, I checked on wattages and Athlonllx4 3.0 runs on 95w,Phenom runs a 125w. So I ordered an Athlon and I'll install it, when it's done I'll let you know how it works. Thanks again Tim
