Sli with 460Ti and 460?

Can u run a GTX 460Ti and a GTX 460 in SLI? or do you absolutely need both card to be Ti or non-Ti?

Also if you can would the performance be noticeable?

There is no such thing as a 460ti, it's the 560ti.

No you cannot run 560Ti and 460 in SLi, and there is no such a thing as 460Ti

If the question is the GTX 560 and GTX 560 ti the answer is probably yes, but only as a dual GTX 560. I have read that the GTX 470 and GTX 480 can be SLI'd, but with the limitation that it can only be SLI'd at the lesser of the two cards.

i have heard that you can't run 2 different cards in SLi, you can run for example: 6850 and 6870 in CF, but i think there's no option to run it like that in SLi

You could run the GTS 250 and the 9800GTX+ in SLi.

Keep in mind that they are the same chip that was just relabeled as a 250.

The core counts of the cards you mention are all different from each other and as such the pairings won't work.

So long as the VRAM sizes are the same.
