Worth the upgrade

Alrite guys need some advice if ya can plz. my system

asus maximus z68 gene z
ocz agility 120gb ssd
ocz 850watt modular psu
ivy bridge 3570k@ 4ghz
antec 920 cooler
gigabyte 6850@ 820core
asus dx1 sound card
8gb g skill ram. 1600mhz


now im wondering if i get faster ram speeds at 2400mhz 10 cl lattency wll i notice that much diffrence from the ram i have now? chees for help .

Nope. Also, keeping DDR3-2400 stable is a chore all in itself. You won't notice then insignificant gains, best case sinerio is +0~3FPS. For 'free' OC you HD 6850 with MSI Afterburner - http://event.msi.com/vga/afterburner/download.htm

its already pre clocked card . will that work with gigabyte card? does it not have to be a msi 6850?cheers

Yep, you can use MSI Afterburner on any GPU and pre-OC or not you can still OC further -- the question is by how much.
