Temperature of my Q6600 G0

Hi there!

I was wondering, i was checking my temps of my CPU with CoreTemp and its like 49-55 degrees when doing nothing on the pc and when playing games its like 70+....so is this normal?

Are you using the stock heatsink/fan that came with the CPU? If yes those sound like OK temperatures. If no, then the heatsink isn't doing a good job or your case could use some more fans (or just better airflow).

Yes its just the heatsink/fan that came with the whole builded pc, nothing really done about it.

Then I wouldn't be worried. You can always add some fans to your case (if you can) if you get worried about temperatures.

Yeah i think im going to clean my heatsink and re-apply some thermal paste maybe that helps, now im playing Call of Duty 4 and my CPU is now 80celsius ...
