Hi everybody,

After having re-formatted and re-installed everything on
my computer on RAID and with Win XP Pro, and having
a regularly updated Antivirus + Firewall (Kaspersky),
now my computer suddenly became very slow, even with
typing, clicking, dragging and opening windows.
I do regularly virus scans (with System Restore turned off)
and it finds nothing. What the hell could that be ?

Thanks for feed back,

Well something is bloating your system could be your antivirus mate, id be
inclined to remove it from your system and reboot and see what happens.

Oh. My bad. Since your request was posted in both alt.computers and
comp.sys.laptops I guessed laptop.

Glad to hear Quaoar's advice to clean up the disk solved your problem.

Ok no harm. And surprisingly, there are not many computer advising
newsgroups around, that's why I posted in comp.sys.laptop as here
I find wise people giving cool advices. Thank you anyway, as your
advice can be useful in another situation, living in this tough world...
