No sound

Hi i have no sound what so ever coming out of computer speakers and also from head phones each time i go to play something it says there is no sound card please help me reolve this and get my sound back i dont mind downloading for free but it keeps me asking for a activation key that i dont have as it is not given if you download for free

Huh! never paid for an audio driver in my life =they're all free.
List your system specs.
Specifically your motherboard make and model#.
If you have a sound card make and model #.
And if Windows is asking you for a key there's a very good reason.
It's not free.
