Recommended AMD FX8120 Motherboard

What's your budget - I have the 990FX Sabertooth and it's fantastic

I have the ASUS 990FX Sabertooth with the FX8120 and it runs flawless,just remember to use a different cooling solution the stock heatsink and fan are useless.I use a CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO to cool my CPU,which i have overclocked and stable and cool at 4.0 ghz.

What do you think?

Also, I am amazed that AMD ship out a processor without a fan good enough to cool it? Why is this?

My budget for the whole build was £400, but now I might have to stretch out to £500, based on needing a cooler and also thinking of adding a SSD too.

Thanks first of all for the valueable info.

I am planning to setup home lab for running multiple VMs (Linux), especially Oracle RAC 3 node, with host as win 7 64bit prof.

Going through this thread, I planned to use proc - AMD FX8210, mbo - ASROCK 990FX Extreme 4 , RAM - 8GB (future expansion) , HDD 1TB.
Do I need separate cooling for this proc?
Is 400W power supply sufficient or do I need 600W?
what cabin do I need for this setup (lots available and got confused)
