6870 vs. GTX 560 Ti

I am going to get the Radeon HD 6870, but I don't no which one to get. Right now I am looking between the Sapphire model and PowerColor and is 550w PSU enough?

I honestly would get a reference card that has the mid plate for quality reasons. I was considering buying one my self and still might later this summer. The reference cards do indeed are louder than some non reference models but the mid plate alone is worth second external exhaust. Third is power the 6870 is capped at 151w with overclocking so they are not power hogs.

Don't bump posts. Why not a HD5850, they are really cheap these days and aren't much slower than HD6870.

Its better if you plan to crossfire it.The HD 6xxx series scale better than the HD 5xxx series in crossfire.

I will be gaming on a 1920x1080 monitor. What about the 560 ti, is it worth the extra $40-$80.
