Approximate Purchase Date: This week.

Budget Range: Sub $1000.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, movies/tv shows, and file server.

Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg.

Country of Origin: USA.

Parts Preferences: I'm going for an i5 build, but no real preferences.

Overclocking: Yes.

SLI or Crossfire: Unlikely right now, quite possible in future.

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1200.

Additional Comments: I'd like it to be quiet and cool, even if it means a relatively tame OC. Not a fan of lights/bling.

Will fixed antennas be an issue on the wifi card?

I'm not 100% sure on the video card and motherboard, focus on those please.

And finally, just want to make sure 600W is going to cover it all.

That motherboard is not going to work too well for Xfire because the second PCIe slot will only run at 4x with 2 cards. You should also be able to get a HD 6950 2gb card and at least a 750W PSU while staying within your budget.

The ASUS DVD drive was always around $21 with FS every time I checked, so if you want to save the $5 or so, I'd wait a bit for FS.
