My current pc is as follows,
E6750 with zalmann cooler
2gigs crucial ballistix
evga 8800gts 512MB
10k rpm HD

I was debating on building a new comp since upgrading anything on current comp will be bottlenecked by my processor.

What you guys think I got the spare cash, just unsure. If I do build new, Id have to purchase win 7, a new monitor one that supports 1080.

Mostly just gaming when I do use it. not much else. Eh id spend around 1500.
I was going to update my current rig, but its not feasible.

Edit: I did just build a semi new computer but that was for the bartop arcade I was building =D which is now finished just needs a marquee. but in the process of building I remember'd how much fun I had jus t spending the time configuring etc.
Arcade comp is gskill 4gig
asrock micro n68
antec quiet 350watt PS
amd sempron 140.

I think the answer to that as an enthusiast PC builder is always "yes"

You could certainly build a new computer as that one is a couple generations behind (like mine, and I'm looking to build). The parts have been out for a while so you know which are the best bang for the buck and which ones to avoid, and they've come down in price since their initial release. Furthermore, we're still months away (at least) as far as I know from new chips so your rig won't become outdated anytime soon.

I'll reuse my antec 900 case
I dont think I can reuse my Power supply (CORSAIR HX Series CMPSU-620HX 620W ATX12V v2.2 and EPS12V 2.91 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active ...)
Bah thats about all I can reuse besides mouse and keyboard.
