I have been looking for new headphones for some time and I can't really decide. My budget is $200 or less. I have narrowed my choice mostly down to Audio-Technica ATH-M50. Any recommendations on other headphones? I have looked at a few others, mostly some of the Sennheiser headphones. Also the Audio-Technica ATH-M50 came out quite a few years ago so I don't know if that should worry me? Or if there are any promising headphones coming out in the near future I should wait for.

Those are some darn good headphones for the price not many can compare with them. Age doesn't matter.

I am in the same boat. I have been looking into buying some wireless for awhile but cant seem to find any good info on a pair. I might just go with a pair of Steelseries Siberia.

You can't look to buy audio equipment.
You buy audio gear with your ears.
If it's possible buy headphones in person or go to a shop where you can listen to them.
If the headphones are under $60 fine, otherwise listen to them first.
$200 isn't exactly loose change.
