I recently asked somebody which CPU I should get and into the thread somebody said that "The Asus Z77 motherboard you linked to is a good match for the Core i5-3570k ($230) because the Z77 chipset has overclocking features" I reconsidered getting the Asus Z77 MoBo and wanted to get a different one due to the price.
I was looking at other Motherboards but I'm still deciding which CPU to get. Can anyone help me link these motherboards with a good processor or help me understand why a certain motherboard goes with a certain processor, or vice versa.

Motherboards I was looking at:

I am on a price range. I am currently building a computer and my hardest decision at the moment is picking a processor and a motherboard, but the purpose of the computer is for gaming and various school work.

Didn't really know if I should've had the category at CPU & Components or Motherboards & Memory but I'm sure I can find help anywhere I go.

Thank You.

P.S. I am very new to this computer stuff so I'm if I sound like such a noob. lol

U can definitely use this one -> ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 -> ... Latest Z77...

I just build PC with this mobo and I like the BIOS, its looks like this.

Works as expected @ 4.4GHz

That is a great mobo choice for the CPU. It has good power design for OC.
