Will Radeon 5830 fit inside the XPS 8300

Will this Radeon HD 5830 fit inside a Dell XPS 8300?

I have a XPS 8300 with a 5770 coming, I was curious if I could quickly swap this out.

i'm not sure the exact length for the card you specified above but reference 5830 should have the same length as 5870 which is around 11.1 inch. so just make sure you have enough spacing for the card. you might want to rearrange your HDD to make it fit in your case

That card is much longer than the extreme 5850. I have the extreme 5850 and it's about as long as a 9800gt which is around 8.5 inches so if you can find the extreme 5850 online and are willing to spend the extra 40ish dollars then it is definitely the better choice.

even the reference 5850 is shorter than 5830.

How many inches of space do you have inside your case?

I have a Sapphire 5850 Xtreme which is physically very similar to the Sapphire 5830 Xtreme. My 5850 is about 8 - 8.5 inches, which is about 2 inches shorter than previously released 5850s that were over 10 inches. I would think that Sapphire also reduced the length of this 5830 in comparison to the reference 5830.
