You don't need anywhere near 900W if all you plan on running is one 6870

If that is all you plan on getting, I suggest going with a lower PSU so you can throw more money into a better gpu like the 6950!

If you plan on buying a second 6870 later on then you still wouldn't need the 900W, 750W would suffice.

I suggest aiming for a sapphire or msi non reference card (sapphire 6950 2GB w/ dirt 3 for free @ $244.99 on newegg.com) It is a very slick and nice non-ref card.


i got an 6870 as it was on sale and it in my older i5 pc so i was going to crossfire them so a 750w would do. if its a well made one.....
