Hello, I want to buy another HD 6850 and I wonder if the second PCIe which is x4 will affect the performance and by how much.

Depends on the resolution you play at (also does your motherboard support PCI-E 2.0 or 1.0 ?) If it supports PCI-E 2.0,then have a look at this link

It is 2.0 but in that article they test a 6950 which needs more bandwidth.

Are you talking about PCI-E 2.1 ? if so,then there is no performance difference between 2.0 and 2.1
Anyway,adding another 6850 will definitely give you a great boost in performance,but as it's seen in the benchmarks,x16x4 speed doesn't scale as good as dual x8/x16
