Hi Guys,

Im going away to Uni and I dont have my own PC so I can borrow one for the time being until I buy one in the new year.

The system will be used for the below and I already knwo that both are very low spec but whihc one is better out of the two below?

I need this for:

Social Networking
Bit of downloading movies & music
Light Microsoft Office Use
Streaming Downloaded movies to my TV
Being able to play WoW cata & Dawn of War 2 on minimal setting would be a “BIG BONUS” but not essential

The samsung is an old cpu; the lenova is the newer amd which has better graphics than Intel. If your budget permits it, look for an i5 for around $600, no more. Black friday is coming up fast if you live in the usa. Computers should be marked down considerably this year. Lenova is a good brand. I talked to an engineer on a flight recently and he liked his.

Hi Thank You for your reply

What is Black Friday?

Should I hold off and get a better deal later in the year?

If you don't live in the usa, you won't know about black friday (the day after thanksgiving, the biggest shopping day of the year in the usa). Dec-Jan is a good time to buy pc's in many locations around the world. Hp or Lenova may have specials directly from their website. Get a brand new unit, not refurbished unless it has at least a 12 month replacement warranty.

Those games are Playable on the both with low settings.

The Intel 957 is a low powered, low clocked, newer design (ie - its a sandy bridge processor) and even though its slower clocked than the e350 it is the stronger of the two processors. The hd3000 graphics is also slightly stronger than the e350's 6310m's.
