You need 8 pieces for a standard computer nowadays:

Processor(CPU), motherboard, memory, graphics card(GPU), DVD drive, hard disk, case and power supply.

The things you have listed might work together, but they all seem to be really old tech.

Something like this would be newer:

CPU: Athlon x2 250 $54.99
MB: Biostar A870U3 $59.99
mem: Gskill 2x2GB 1.5V 1333Mhz DDR3 $29.99
GPU: PowerColor AX5570 1GB $54.99 ( before $15 MIR )
DVD: Lite-On 24x DVD burner $19.99
HDD: WD blue 500GB $39.99
Case: Xigmatek asgaard II $29.99
PSU: Antec EarthWatts 380D $39.99

~$330

Gives you a good quality PSU, ok case for the price, decent graphics performance, support for USB3 and Sata 6Gb/s and enough...

The for OS:
OS: Windows 7 home premium 64-bit $99.99 ( or if you have and EDU email addy you can get student pricing on it, which i think is like $30 )

They should be playable, but you may have to use lower end settings or resolution.

Obviously what I suggested is like the very low end that is usable at the moment, so if you have more funds better solutions can be found.
But basically wanted to show you something which is a little bit more 2011 instead of 2008 :)

For approximately $500 + OS you can get a big improvement in gaming performance over what I listed now.
For that just take a look at the previous system builder marathon $500 build. (here)

If you have a more accurate budget and information available and need more help, post a new article following these instructions. People here will be glad to give you a hand selecting the best components for your use.
