Aspire T180 desktop Boot Problem

Hello,
The free coputer I just Received Won't boot up properly
When you turn it on it goes to the Acer screen an the says :

Verifying DMI Pool Data .......
Boot from CD :
DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER

Now I dont have any CD's right now
And this Acer Aspire T180 desktop
was given to me

What is wrong with the computer?
What should I do with it?
Where Do I start trying to fix it?

go into the BIOS and check to verify that the HD is set to first boot device.

If it is, you will have to reinstall windows, which is more than likely the case since whoever gave it to you, probably took everything off so that their data would not be on it.
