My HTPC that I put together needs a faster video card (w/HDMI). So far, the fastest low-profile video card I've found is the:
SAPPHIRE 100293L Radeon HD 5570 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Low Profile Ready Video Card.
Is this the fastest one available? It seems a bigger/faster low-profile card that takes up 2 bays and uses external power would be an option for small cases too, but I don't see such an item.

Is there a reason you need a gaming card for an HTPC?

Maybe I should have said "want", not need... OK?

Oh its not that, you called it an HTPC so I figured it was for theature reasons. Otherwise its not an HTPC XD. What card do you currently have?

Built-in HD 4200 on a ASUS M4A785-M board. And it is in an HTPC case.

http://www.guru3d.com/news/sparkle-lowprofile-geforce-g... there is also a few gts450 low profile cards, which would be similar performance to the 5750. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... < palit gts450 low profile.

Ahh... good choice, thanks. But a bit long for my application maybe. I guess I was too hasty; there seem to be some decent low-profile cards out there afterall. I found this: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/ite... It's a bit shorter. Wonder how it would compare to the 450?
