Okay basically I want to upgrade my Dell 435MT to a coolermaster haf 922 case, (So I have more room for upgrading as the 435MT is tiny)

I would like to upgrade the 4850 to a 6950
and I would like to upgrade the stock powersupply to a 650 antec earthwatts.

Is this possible with the motherboard the dell 435MT has?

The only problem is that you will have to fabricate your own I/O shield for the backpanel connectors on the motherboard.

Hi there, I was able to successfully upgrade my Dell Studio XPS 435MT (Core i7 940) to a Radeon HD 6950 and a 650W Green Power APU. The only sacrifice I had to do was to swap a 3.5" hard drive with a hybrid 2.5"/SSD due to the graphics card lenght. It plays Crysis 2 and I am satisfied for the next year or so. After that, I will have to consider a new machine with PCIe 3.0, USB 3.0 and a 2nd/3rd generation Intel Core i7.
