SO today I put my new rig together, Sabertooth Z77, 3570K, 8gb vengeance ram, GTX 280.

SO I installed everything, and when I turned the power on I hear no beeps at all, it just turns on for a few seconds then shuts down. Then keeps doing it. I then realized I need to push the BIOS button on the back. So I help it down for a few seconds and it lit up and flashed blue and the button stayed in the push position. At first I let it sit for a little but under a minute and I got impatient, then I hit the power button on my NZXT Guardian 921 RB and it just kept turning on and off. Then I help the BIOS button again and it stayed solid blue but not in the pushed in position just it stayed out, and I decided to leave it and come to my lappy and look for a solution.

I need this rig going soon so this is why I sound like I'm begging!

No nothing happens, I don't get any video on my monitor at all, it just turns on then turns off. Everything is brand new. I ran it with everything plugged in. I didn't run it out of the case. My PSU is the Kingwin 850 maximum performance.

U can try to reset the BIOS.

Reset the CMOS memory the right way as is described in the motherboard manual using the clear CMOS link with the power cord unplugged.
And when the battery is out, press the power button to discharge all the electricity from the system.

I'll do that tomorrow when I'm not tired and cranky. DO I need to plug the power into the 8 pin power connector along with the 24 pin?

When I get up tomorrow I'll bump this back up
