I am a programmer primarily and a Gamer as a hobby.I have an upgrade cycle of roughly 5 years. My old rig has a EVGA 780i SLI and i am very happy with it's quality. I am thinking of upgrading and am still undecided on the Mobo.I am currently interested in a z77 extreme 4 which has everything i need but at that price point i think it is too good to be true. With a micro center deal i'm getting the board at $85 and since i have a 5 year upgrade cycle,i'm beginning to wonder if This extreme bang for the buck deal Is any good for me for 5 years.Extreme 4 users please leave your experiences with this board.
Secondly ,Ill be using Quicksync a lot.And currently MC is only offering deals on the i7 2700k.Is the i7 2700k good enough or should i sacrifice the $50 discount on the mobo and get a i7 3770.
