Cant get tv to detect 3D signal

Hey Guys, so I just built a HTPC with a core I3 2100, and an asus p8h67 evo mobo, I am trying to play a 3d bluray through the pc (the drive is an LG BH-10, and has 3dplayback) PowerDVD, and Total media detect the 3d content, however my tv, which is a sony 40NX711, and has a 3d transmitter, and active shutter glasses, will not detect the signal as 3D from the PC. Is it possible this is just because I am using a 10 dollar hdmi cable (which I assume is 1.3, and I assume if thats the issue i just need to buy a 1.4 complaint cable) or is it a bigger issue?

Solved it, Had to update the intel drivers
