1155 is newer and better, 1366 is dead and is expencive

i5 2500k 3.3ghz 220$
asrock p67 extreme 4 1155 160$
antec 300 case 60$
gskill ripjaws x 8gb 1600mhz cl9 65$
samsung spinpoint f3 1tb hard drive 60$
any optical drive from asus 20$
evga gtx 560ti 245$

total:830$

is the ssd really needed, it doesnt boost your games speed at all, just startup times.
and its a newer tech and is not so matured
if you are willing to buy an ssd, you can go with ocz vertx 3 ssd's.

Agreed, stay away from socket 1156 & 1366. These are old ones and are not supported anymore. Processors made for socket 1155 are more recent, powerful and costs less than those 1366 ones.

Hmm...Dear I Have 2 Computers..

1. I5-750 (2.66Ghz), 4GB Ram Kingston, 500 HDD

2. I7-960 (3.2 Ghz), 6GB Ram OCZ Gold Series, 1TB HDD

And I Put HD5870 On Both System And Checked Performance...There Is Only 10 Fram Rates Difference Between Both Pcs...

So, I Suggest U To Go With..

I5-750 (2.66 GHz)

6GB Ram (G.skill Brand) Tri Channel

MSI Or Asus Mother Board (Both Is Good) Asus P7P55 LX

HDD Wht U Need....

OCZ 700W PSU

Sapphire ATI Radeon HD6870

And The Other Parts U Can Get At Less Price...

This Is My Sugg. To U....

Best Of Luck...

Mr. Manu11 & Mr.Big55........i'm also agreed with u both..1156 &1366 Is old now..bt Is Still Very Good...And abt SSD, Mr.Manu is right it does not increase the speed of your game.....

I Purchased I7-960 (3.2 GHz) Socket 1366 "536$" And Is Still Very Good.....

I Only Play Games On It...

And Second Is I'm Using At My Shop...

So Don't Say That 1156 & 1366 Is Not Good...:p hehe

deadly shadow, please don't triple post.
i5 2500k performs better in games than the 960, we are not saying that they are not good, but if you are getting newer tech which is more performing and is cheaper, why not choose it.
