What PSU to buy

Hi guys!
I want to buy a new PSU and i would like your help. I have some PSU's in my mind but before i proceed i want a second opinion.
I will combine it with a GTX560, but i want it to be big enough, in case i decide to go sli in the future.

Please take a look in this store (it;s greek) and tell me which one you think i should buy under 100€.

My biggest concerns are first reliability and secondly noise.

Right now i'm thinking to buy one of these (in order):
1.Corsair TX650
2.XFX 650W
3.Thermaltake XT 675W

More about what
  1. A 650W PSU isn't enough for 2 GTX 560s. You need at least a 700W. OCZ tends to make quality PSUs:

  2. i'm not going to buy 2 GTX 560s right now so lets talk about 1. The rest of my system is a E6500@2.93, 2 HDDs and a DVD-RW.
  3. A good 650w is more than enough for two GTX 560 Tis or a pair of 6950.

Out of those, i recommend the XFX since it's a tad cheaper and slightly higher quality/efficiency compared to the corsair txv2. But all of those are good choices.
  4. If you want to objectively, accurately and scientifically determine what PSU power is required for your Vid card and PC in both watts and 12v rail amps., the forum Utility link below will show you how easy it is to calculate this information and objectively determine which PSUs are quality built, reliable PSUs that can meet your needs. Be advised that the available 12v rail amps. is just as important as the total PSU wattage. You need both to be correct.

  5. im concerned about the thermaltake. The thing is it is momular which is a plus.
Also i cant find anywhere a noise comparison between them. Do you know which is quiter?
  6. I'd go with the XFX personally. And yes the Corsair or XFX 650 W will run 2x560.
    € 100,12 for the XFX 750W version.
    The OCZ Fatal1ty 750 W is semi-modular and a good unit.

  7. Can someone please tell me a few things about the thermaltake. I cant find a review.
Is it good? Is better/worse in comparison with the other two?
  8. I think the xfx will suit you just fine. It has good electronics and it's enough for your rig and I think it can handle 2x560's if you wanna SLI them later.

I've looked(none) and always have my suspicions on units that seem to have no reviews anywhere.
    Especially from large companies.
Thermaltake and Coolermaster make quite a few subpar units.
XFX or Corsair, both have plenty of reviews and are great units.
  10. I just made a similar choice 2 days ago and I went with the XFX 650.
  11. Have you tried it yet? Can you please tell me what you think of it?
  12. It is in the mail still, so I haven't tried it yet.

If you send me a private message and stall for a few days I will get back to you with my experiences.
  13. ok thanks!
