2x1GB and 2x2GB

i have 2x1GB and 2x2GB (both DDR3) ram. both are in the corresponding slots. but could this be a problem??

It can be especially if the specs including the voltages is off. The easy way to find out is to remove one set and see if problems disappear. Many times they work problem free.
