I am buying the new 27" with everything decked out except the Ram. I will put that in myself and save 500 big ones, I am having trouble making sure the ram is compatible. I would like to use mushkin but cannot figure out what pin number I need. Is is 204 or 240 pin, I am looking at this stuff as I want 16gb for as cheap s possible without sacrificing quality, also, does it have to say "apple certified" or something so there aren't any compatibility issues?

looks to be laptop memory (so-dimm) so it would be 204 pin

though if you are getting a high end machine, why not look into OSx86's compatible hardware and give a hackintosh build a go
