Imac 27" ddr3 question

I am buying the new 27" with everything decked out except the Ram. I will put that in myself and save 500 big ones, I am having trouble making sure the ram is compatible. I would like to use mushkin but cannot figure out what pin number I need. Is is 204 or 240 pin, I am looking at this stuff as I want 16gb for as cheap s possible without sacrificing quality, also, does it have to say "apple certified" or something so there aren't any compatibility issues?

More about imac ddr3 question
  1. looks to be laptop memory (so-dimm) so it would be 204 pin

though if you are getting a high end machine, why not look into OSx86's compatible hardware and give a hackintosh build a go

  2. no, thats not what I want to do.
