i cant seem to find info on this

dose any one know if a intel® Core™2 Quad Processor Q6700 is compatible with a msi P4M800Pro Socket 775

Msi has no listing in their archives. Ecs also used this chipset, but had several versions. http://www.ecsusa.com/ECSWebSite/Product/ProductArchive.aspx?CategoryID=1&MenuID=24&LanID=9. If this is your board, the q6700 is not listed in the "cpu support" section. Personally, I wouldn't try the q6700 on such an old board. Better to get a newer board chipset, such as the g31 with ddr2 support, which will run the q6700 for sure and is low cost.
