Please help me to make the best final decision..

This question is about the Z9PE-D8 WS and Z9PE-D16 motherboards and I need urgently decide which motherboard should I buy.

For people that doesn't know these motherboards, I can tell you that both has similar features (dual

socket lga 2011), but has two main differences for me.

1. Z9PE-D8 WS supports MAX. 64GB DDR3 UDIMM and 256GB DDR3 ECC (RDIMM) [[32GBxSocket and 128GBxSocket]] and supports Crossfire and SLI (multiple GPU's), integrated sound.

2. Z9PE-D16 supports MAX. 128GB DDR3 UDIMM and 512GB DDR3 ECC (RDIMM) [[64GBxSocket and 256GBxSocket]] and only ONE (1) GPU and no has integrated sound.

As you can see, with the Z9PE-D8 WS you sacrifice memory by GPU's and with the Z9PE-D16 you sacrifice GPU's by memory...

¿What do you recomend?

It is really not what I recommend rather what do you need, do you need more ram or do you need more than one GPU?

This idea is a multi-purpose server. Both!, graphics and processing................

As a server then it is the workstations/network computers that need the graphics power.
