May 25, 2011, 5:13 AM
I am planing to upgrade from onboard video card to a new one specificly HD 5670
my HP P6230F has this mobo
PCIe slot is V 2.0
I heard alot of rumors that video cards with v2.1 interface will not work and compatible on PCIe mobo slot v 2.0
So I am very confused and worry
is that right or not??

It should be fine:
The 5670's a good choice for an OEM (HP, Dell, etc.).

You'll be fine. PCI-e 2.1 cards only have problems with PCI-e 1.x slots.
