My Asrock Z77 Extreme4 went bad 40 days after purchas from Newegg.
Here is what Newegg had to say:
"According to our records, this item is still covered by the product manufacturer's parts warranty.
According to our records, this item is still covered by the product manufacturer's labor warranty.
This item was purchased more than 30 days ago and is no longer eligible for a replacement RMA."
Ok, this is more or less standard, I thought, so I will try to go through ASRock even though it will be a more difficult process. As it turns out, there is no process at all. ASRock's warranty does not cover users. Don't believe me? Go to their RMA website and read what they have to say:
"Due to the unique configuration of each computer, we recommend you to contact your dealer for technical support. If you would like contact us for technical support."
and it gets worse:
"ASRock provide 1 year warranty service to Authorized Distributor, users should refer to the retailer or original vender RMA & Refund policy."
So Newegg says go to ASRock and ASRock says talk to Newegg.
ASRock do provide an email address and Newegg's provides ASRock's phone number--God knows for what purpose since they won't RMA. I have emailed and called, but have received no response as of yet.
