Compaq 2025 monitor wont work

Hello,
so , my Compaq 2025 moniter was working last night when it was hooked up to my dell D610 laptop and now when i went to turn it on, the LED green lights on the bottom say the moniter is on, but the screen isnt working...at all. -_-, can someone help??

here try this..
unplug the monitor from the computer
turn off the monitor ... wait 10 seconds then turn it back on.
now try to use the menu for the monitor. can you see the menu pop up?
this is just a way to test if the screen is dead.

also i find leaving things unplugged for a day can fix them
