Hello, problem with computer

I wasn't completly sure where to put this, however I recently encountered some problems with my computer. Randomly (Happened while playing, tho I mostly game on the computer) and there was some ''robotoc/static sound'' then the screen went black, saying no connection. The computer is still running and I have to reboot it before I can see anything.

If this is the wrong forum, please redirect it to the correct one.

I'd be thankful if anyone would make time to help me solve this problem. as it is very annoying.

You need to list your system specs, especially the power supply make and model number. Something, maybe the video card or power supply, may be overheating.

did you build the pc yourself or buy it?
i would start with checking all connections. and reseating everything.
