Unlocking Sempron 145 with Asus M4N68T-M V2 motherboard

If the unlock function does not work, what happens. Asking this as I tried it on the 145 and Asus M/B listed in title of message. Computer shut down immediately and was doing strange things afterward. Have another M/B and Processor but a little leary to try again.

Clear the cmos. You can try gain if you want but don't forgot to set the advanced clock calibration (ACC) to auto and maybe try a little more cpu voltage.
