Hp g60-231wm motherboard connections

My laptop was running hot, has been for a while. But I was trying to watch anime on a web site and it got too hot and shut down. anyway I took it apart and cleaned out the cooling fan. It was full of dust and lint. then I put my laptop back together. it is not going thru the post. I can hear the optical drive booting. the cpu fan is running but there is no display or hard drive light, do you have any suggestions?
