What mid-range video card beats Intel HD 3000 graphics? (not a gamer)

I'm building a new system with an Intel i5-2500k processor with the built in Intel HD 3000 graphics, using a new Z68 Motherboard.

I just built my dad a similar system on an H67 board, and I just went with the built in Intel graphics. His WEI for graphics is 5.9 and gaming graphics is 6.2.

I was thinking of buying a video card for my system, but after looking around at mid-range cards, is it even worth it? I was looking at the Geforce GT 430 Fermi, and Newegg reviews say it brings their graphics up to a 5.6 WEI score. That'd be a downgrade over the Intel 3000.

So, is there anything you would recommend, or should I just stick with the built in graphics? I don't game, but I do use intensive programs like photoshop and lightroom for large RAW picture editing.

Thanks in advance

The Intel HD 3000 is slightly more powerful than a Radeon HD 5450. Therefore, a Radeon HD 5550 or better can beat the Intel HD 3000.
