Icon change and program doesnt work

Hello,
Not sure whether anyone can help. My itunes and safari icons have both changed to a completely unrecognisable icon. I cannot run either of this programs on my computer. I have tried reinstalling but this didnt work.

Post some system specs.
Anything else malfunctioning, on desktop, or otherwise ?
Have you checked for virus / malware ?

I have windows 7, quite a new computer only bought it 2 months go.

When i shut down or start up, i keep getting a messagesaying c:\program files (x86)\common files\mircosoft shared\windows live\wlidci.dll is either not desiged to run on windows or it contains an error.

I have a really up to date version of Norton 360.

1) The desktop Icons won't work - DELETE Them.

2) Go to your programs folders for the APPS right click & send to
Desktop, or drag & drop the executable.

Additional: wlidci.dll

Norton 360 - Didn't know people still used that passe memory hogging beast - Just my opinion !

i managed to get rid of the error message by reinstalling windows live but i cannot get itunes working, even though i have reinstalled it twice. It wont install into its proper location.
The itunes folders/docs and evrything has moved from c driveinto my music file. which has made the whole thing not work. I cannot move/uninstall itunes from its new location.

I realy appreciate your tips with this matter

Try uninstalling with Revo uninstaller.
