Hey all,

This is what I've come up with. Computer died out and decided to put some extra cash in and upgrade.

I'm looking for future x-fire upgrade ability. I have the OS/Monitor/mouse/keyboard/

I also have a 8800 gtx @ home that runs most my current games fine. Do you guy think I should hold off on buying the first video card until the 7000 series is released later this year?

thanks a ton!

well right now my budget is pretty much up to around 1300-1500$. I use a 37 inch monitor @ 1920x1080p. I plan to purchase three 27'inch monitors in the future for eyefinity. I would not be upgrading so quick if my mobo did not fry the other day.

I don't have the monitors for eyefinity yet and probably wont until early next year. I currently have a 8800gtx card but also have a 6670 card I can put in the machine as well.

I am wondering how my current build looks and also wondering if I should just drop the 6970 card and use either my 8800gtx or 6670 card until I have my three new monitors since the new line of ati cards should be coming out in the next few months.

XFX PRO850W XXX Edition Semi-Modular 80 Plus Silver Certified 850 Watt Active PFC Power Supply

Here's a board that will o/c just as well as that Fatality board yet not only is it cheaper, it doesn't have that screwy looking dude in the bios background.

Same h/s but cheaper. Also skip the Arctic Silver 5. The CM h/s comes with TX-2 ...which is even better than the arctic silver imo.

Down below are two reviews worth looking at...one of them compares those two Asrock boards side by side.

Thanks for the info! going to change up the mobo like you suggested and switch out the HD. I forgot to mention that I already have a 850watt PSU Thermaltake black widow.

Whats your opinion on my video card situation? should I upgrade and buy one of my cross fire cards now? or wait it out with my ati 6670 and wait for the new ati series in Q4 ? Any other addons I might of forgot?
