How to connect thomson router and linksys router in a network

Hello,
i have a thomson device which is connected to the dsl and i have enabled wireless in this device .i've shared my internet connection with my neighbour thru cable .there he is using a Wireless-N ADSL2+ Gateway WAG160N device. the problem is we are not getting proper internet connectivity. is the problem that both device dhcp is enabled and having same ip range.pls help

Yes he needs to turn off the DHCP and change his LAN IP to the same IP scheme but ending in an different number.

example:
if Thomson IP is 192.168.1.1
make Linksys IP 192.168.1.254

thx for the reply .but i still hav some doubts. hope u'll help me clear it..

if i disable the dhcp of the linksys router (the second router) who will assign the ip for systems connecting to it thru wired or wireless. pls make it clear for me . thx

from what I understood, the phone line connects to the Thomsen, and a network cable connects the Thomsen to the Linksys.

Therefore the thomsen will provide the DHCP for all wired and wireless devices.
