Both are greatly rated.

U can definitely use this one -> ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 -> ... Latest Z77...

I just build PC with this mobo and I like the BIOS, its looks like this.

Works as expected @ 4.4GHz



That is a great mobo choice for the CPU. It has good power design for OC.

Thank you very much for the input and the link to the review. What I gathered from that review is that the Extreme 4 doesn't have good a good audio chipset onboard? Is that accurate?


Would you say the reliability on the ASRock is comparable to the Gigabyte? That is my main worry right now.

With Z77 chipset, I would say they are close. ASUS#1, Gigabyte #2 ASRock #3

But all very close, and ASUS and ASRock are build in the factory by ASUStek.

But for the price, ASRock is a better choice.

I build some PC's with that mobo and it had no problems, including the audio.
