I am connected to the internet via a router hardwired to a radio then wireless to a tower then wireless to multiple towers then to the ISP server onto the internet. From time to time some link in this daisy chain breaks. I regularly ping router, radio, tower, ISP,internet with successful responses. Many times I only get a response from my router. I don't understand why I would not always get a response from my hard-wired radio. John

Radio? What kind of radio? Radio to me means obnoxious AM jocks and boring FM classical stations.

And by wireless, do you mean "wifi", cellular, ???

Are things (radio, wireless, towers, etc.) all under your control?

Happy to help, but it's just not clear what we’re dealing w/ here, it certainly doesn’t sound typical.
