Hello,
I replaced the power supply on a Compaq SR5233wm and I cant remember where it goes. I cant even find a motherboard manual. Thanks in advance so very much. This thing has given me fits.

The 4 Pin usually goes next to the CPU socket to provide power to the CPU. Check around the CPU socket to see if you can spot a 4 pin in a 2x2 arrangement.

Thanks for the answers. It wasnt the big 4 pin that always goes on the motherboard, it was the small one thats always on the end of the powere run. I think I was probably waay tired. I guess I was talking about the one you hook into PCI add ons for extra power. I couldnt get that computer back up. I took the battery out and remembered that the jumper had fallen off the pins at the SATA 4 location. I finally got it back in the exact spot and reset the cmos. The display came back on, but I dont know why. Too many things at once for me. Thanks, guys.
