Gaming pc build/video editing

so i plan on replacing my laptop in january/febuary and im planing my build now.
this is what i have planed so far.
my budget is $1000-$1300 USD
i would buy my parts online at newegg or tigerdirect
MOBO: ASUS SABERTOOTH P67 (REV 3.0) LGA 1155
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333
CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz
GPU: ASUS ENGTX560 TI DCII/2DI/1GD5 GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi)
CASE: cooler master storm scout.
PSU: CORSAIR Professional Series HX750 (750 watt)
optical drive: ASUS 24X DVD Burner
OS: windows 7 home
i will be using a 1080p HDTV as a temporary monitor
i also have a keyboard

also a bit off topic but are their adapters for the old keyboard connections to usb 2.0?

They are all solid choices. I do suggest the Samsung Spinpoint F3. Some people received them DoA but newegg does have a good policy and is quick with sending new ones. Keep that in mind. I would aim for 1600MHz because you will really benefit from that with Sandy Bridge processors. The 750W is good. You can easily SLI your 560 ti with it. As for your off the topic question, yes. I have some of those that I misplaced. Those do exists

Seems great, except, the 2600k is not worth the extra $100 more from the 2500k.

i changed this build a bit...
everything is the same but going to use 8 gb of ram instead of 16,
gonna run 2 gtx560's in sli mode
and going to change the i7 to the core i5 2500k and overclock it to 4.5 ghz or near 4-5 ghz
and changing the case to a cooler master storm enforcer

does this sound good?
