Im wanting to max out my settings for BF3 SC2 wow crysis 2.. This is a gaming pc STRICTLY i mainly want to be able to have a mother board that will be good 4 years from now in the fact that i can add on to it.. Better parts.. etc. as far as the bulldozer. What is this? And what mother board do you recommend according to what i plan on using it for? I dont do any 3d graphics stuff or photo rendering or anything just gaming.

Your motherboard cant SLI two nVidia cards .

Only 990 series chipset AMD motherboards can do that .

All AMD motherboards use dual channel ram so you use pairs of RAM sticks , not sets of 3 that would give you 12 gig . 2 x2 gig is plenty for gaming anyway so unless you use the computer for RAM intensive tasks thats all you will need

Games dont use 6 cores . They dont use 4 even , so a Phenom 955 is your cpu to bridge you to Bulldozer

why use gtx460's? 560's maybe

Even then the power supply is WAY overkill . Big psu's are not future proof since each generation of computers is using LESS power than the one b4

an enterprise hard drive might not have the through put of a performance consumer drive .. though to be fair this wont hurt gaming performance at all

^ If it is mainly going to be a gaming PC, I would recommend sticking to Intel or wait until AMD launches their newer CPUs - BullDozer,...
Though there are boards which say they support Bulldozer CPUs, but I would rather suggest you to wait and buy the whole setup when the CPU releases so that you get a finished product,...

As for the rest of the setup,..

RAM - You wont need 12GB for a gaming setup,...though 4GB would suffice, but 8GB these days are pretty cheap,...
