New Gaming PC - Which RAM?

I am building a new gaming PC (my first) and was wondering whether I should get either:

8GB of Corsair Vengance DDR3 CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8 ($170)
8GB of G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3 F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL ($75)

The only difference is that the Corsair RAM is 8-8-8-24 where as the G.Skill RAM is 9-9-9-24
I would like to know if this is a huge difference and as I am on a budget will droping to the lower
9-9-9-24 G.Skill RAM put me at a huge performance disadvantage or is this not something to worry
about too much?

  1. I'd save the $95 and go with the cheaper RAM. Quick review on perf at this link (Basically other then memory benchmark's you won't see much real world difference). You would be better off spending that $95 somewhere else on your machine.
  2. try this:

    G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Model F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM

Its also 8-8-8-24, but it only costs $80
