Hi guys
ive noticed on the intel ark that the pentium G620 cpu only supports 1066mhz ram, however many pc,s ive seen use this cpu and also use 1333mhz ddr3 ram ...... ive even checked with gigabyte ( since im buying the GIGABYTE GA-H61MA-D3V GEN3 Intel H61 ... link : http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Motherboards+... ) and this also states it supports ddr3 1333mhz ram ...
so since many pc manufactuers are shipping systems with the G620 and 1333mhz ddr3 ram what shall i beleive... or does it mean the 1333mhz ram i install will only operate at 1066mhz ?
its annoying since manufactuers state one fact were other state something different ,so can anyone enlighten me .....
many thanks guys

1066 is the default for it and 1333 will run that no problem. Unless you can change it manually in BIOS it will run at 1066. Then the motherboard support CPU's that default to 1333MHz as well.

I have a doubt about this...
I got a asus P8Z68-V/GEN3 PRO and use a L620 1155soket cpu, the board specifications say can operate with ddr3 1600mhz.

And question is, can i put ddr3 with 1600mhz or i only can put ddr3 with 1333mhz bcz cpu?
i´ve seen shops selling DDR3 for SOCKET 1155 (SANDY BRIDGE), and some of them use 1600mhz with low profile.
