Hello everyone at toms hardware, after a long session of thinking ive decided to build my own pc as my current one was never really built for gaming and is 5 years old. My budget is $1400~$1600 and after some research i found what seems to be compatible the only problem is no.1 cooling and no.2 obviously if this will all work together and also if i need anything else eg. lights for if its on or off and screws etc. Im not worrying yet about the actual construction as i have 2 very capable friends to help me however i thought it best since they are both busy if i could get the advice here and also what you all think of this as a gaming rig. PS. before i forget my screen is 1920x1080 of the other way around
So without further ado here are my (current) selection of components PS. these are just copy pasted names off amazon

Motherboard: ASUS P8P67 PRO LGA

Case: NZXT Technologies H2 Classic Silent Midtower Chassis CS-NT-H2-B

Power supply: Corsair CMPSU-850HX 850-Watt HX

Processor: Intel Core i7-2600K Processor 3.4GHz 8 MB Cache Socket LGA1155

Optical/dvd drive: Samsung 22X DVD/RW SATA Drive SH-S223C/BEBE

Hard drive: Western Digital WD2002FAEX Caviar Black 2 TB Desktop Hard Drive

And the RAM please note that if the 16gb wouldnt work can you tell me if the 12 gig would?

16 Gig RAM: Corsair Vengeance Blu 16 GB PC3-12800 1600mHz DDR3 240-Pin SDRAM

12 gig RAM:Corsair XMS3 12GB ( 3 x 4GB ) 1333mhz PC3-10666 240-pin DDR3 Triple Channel

OS: windows 7 home premium w/e 64bit
Thanks for the help

I would Use G.Skill Ram , it's Much cheaper ; from the reviews I've been hearing it's pretty good as well:)
