Hi all,

Quick question for you. I just removed my gtx260core216 and installed a gtx560ti. It seems that in COD:BO that my performance has gone down. How is this possible? I know that my CPU is really bottlenexking the system, but I thought that I would have had equal or slightly better performance than before?

Any ideas?

Thank you.

I am not sure if it is really a performance going down, but more like the game is a little laggy...It doesnt seem as smooth at the gtx260. I know most of the problem is my CPU I think....

i got downgrade performance when moving from GTS250 to GTX460 in some games. overclocking the processor solved the problem for me. some said that nvidia new gpu with the caliber of GTX460 and above doesn't pair quite well with dual core processor but idk where this story starts nor did i know if it really true or not

Well, bottlenecks can actually make better GPUs go down in performance based off where the bottleneck is. Quad cores are much better but try some overclocking and that'll probably help.
